Lithium Niobate or LN crystal, a well-developed optical material, has been widely used for surfaced acoustic devices, integrated optic devices, and new wavelength generation and refractive elements. The wide applications are due to its fundamental properties including high electro-optic and nonlinear optic coefficients, a wide transparency range, high electro-mechanical coupling coefficients, and excellent chemical and mechanical stability. Photonchina standard Lithium Niobate Wafer diameters range from 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) to 200mm in size. LN wafers can be produced in various thicknesses and orientations with polished or unpolished sides.
We can also produce materials to customer specifications by request, in addition to custom compositions for commercial and research applications and new proprietary technologies. Typical and custom packaging is available.

The main application of optical grade Lithium Niobate Wafer is the production of high-performance, cost-effective and high-performance electronic devices. In the case of subgrain and lead-free wafers, damage caused by magnesium doping leads to contamination of the material with lead, lead oxide and lead-containing materials.
